Safe Opening In Norwich
So I unloaded my tools and lock pick from the van, RB Locktools 7 guage two in one pick and proceeded to the safe. The safe had a seven lever lock fitted with false notches to give protection against lock picking. Before I started the safe opening in Norwich I removed the escutcheon cover from the safe so it didn't hinder my lock picking. I put my pick into the lock and moved through the lever pack to see what kind of feel I would get. I immedialtley got caught caught on the false notches. I backed of the tension and raked through the lever pack again the same thing happened again. With really light tension I tried once more and started to get a bit of feeling from the lock, I felt the bolt of the lock jump back a bit and could feel which levers were picked and which were caught in the false notches. I jumped the three levers which were on false notches and the safe opening in Norwich was complete. The two ladies who had been watching me were very impressed and wanted to split the proceeds of the contents of the safe with me. Unfortunately as with many safe opening in Norwich it was empty. It always creates a bit of a buzz when you open a safe and before I knew it I think the whole staff had been down into the basment to see the opened safe. It wasn't long before the owner came down. He was very impressed and we know who he will call first next when he needs a safe opening in Norwich.
